Yang's Massage
Family-owned since 2017

One family. Four studios. Nearly a decade in Oakton and Vienna.

Yang's started in 2017 with a single room at 2942 Hunter Mill Rd in Oakton. Nine years later, our team runs three neighborhood massage studios across Oakton and Vienna — and we're opening our first premium spa right next door on Hunter Mill next month.

Our story

How Yang's grew without feeling like a chain.

Yang's is owned and run by the Yang family. We opened our first studio in 2017 at 2942 Hunter Mill Rd in Oakton — a small room a mile off the Route 66 exit, a short menu, and a lot of referrals from neighbors who came in once and brought their friends back the next week. That's still how most of our business works, nine years in.

We grew by adding studios where our guests were already driving to. Chain Bridge came next, on the other side of Oakton, because enough regulars lived closer to it than to Hunter Mill. Then Maple Ave in Vienna — guests had been driving in from the 22180 corridor, so we opened a door for them too. Same menu at each store, same pricing, same therapists we've trained ourselves — just a different door to walk through depending on the day.

Yang's Spa — opening next month at 2944 Hunter Mill — is the one we've been planning longest. It's not a bigger Yang's Massage. It's a different tempo: quieter suites, longer sessions, a premium menu with hot stone, facials, and couples rituals. If the neighborhood stores are a 60-minute reset, Yang's Spa is an afternoon.

What we believe

Pressure is a dial, not a default

We ask every guest what they want before we start, and we adjust as we go. No such thing as "the standard deep tissue" — it's whatever your body is telling us that day.

Same everywhere

One menu across three stores

Consistency is how a chain stays a family business — same menu, same pricing at all three Yang's Massage studios so you always know what you're booking.

Local only

Oakton · Vienna, VA

We're not chasing a nationwide footprint. Four studios in two Northern Virginia towns is the size we want — big enough to cover your week, small enough to remember your name.

FAQ

About Yang's

Who owns Yang's Massage & Spa?
The Yang family. Huailan Yang opened the first studio at 2942 Hunter Mill Rd in Oakton in 2017 and the family still runs every location personally — no franchise, no outside operator. Email the owner directly at [email protected] for anything beyond a booking.
How did Yang's grow from one room to four locations?
By adding doors where regulars were already driving to. Hunter Mill on Route 66 came first in 2017. Chain Bridge followed when enough Oakton regulars lived closer to that side of town. Maple Ave in Vienna opened to serve guests who'd been driving in from the 22180 corridor. Yang's Spa next month is the first time we've added a different concept rather than another neighborhood store.
Why open Yang's Spa instead of a fourth massage studio?
Different need. The three Yang's Massage stores are built for a 60-minute reset — show up, get worked on, get home. Plenty of guests asked for the longer afternoon: facials, head spa, acupuncture, couples rituals. Yang's Spa is that, two doors down from the Hunter Mill studio so the family can run both teams together.
Are your therapists trained in-house?
Most are. We train the menu ourselves so the 60-minute Swedish at Maple Ave feels the same as the 60-minute Swedish at Chain Bridge. A few of our deep-tissue and reflexology specialists came in already certified — they brought their own technique into the rotation.
Where else can I find Yang's reviews?
Each studio has its own Google Business profile — search the address and you'll find the reviews tied to that specific location rather than pooled across all four. We don't repost or filter reviews on the site.
