FAQ

About the services

What's the difference between Swedish and deep tissue?
Swedish uses lighter, longer strokes — relaxation, circulation, general tension release. Deep tissue is slower and goes after specific knots, trigger points, and chronic restriction. If you're not sure, start with Swedish 60 minutes; we adjust pressure as we go and it never feels awkward to ask for more or less.
How long should my first session be?
60 minutes is the sweet spot for a first visit — enough time for intake, full-body work, and a few minutes on whichever spot is loudest. 30 minutes works for a single area or a quick lunch-break reset. 90 minutes is for serious tension or the full body + foot combo.
What's the combo session, and is it worth it?
Body massage and foot reflexology back-to-back, same room, same flow. The 45+45 combo at $110–120 is our most-booked package — most guests walk out noticeably looser than a flat 90-minute body. If you've been on your feet all week or sit at a desk all day, it's the one to try.
What is foot reflexology, exactly?
Pressure-point work along the soles, arches, and ankles — the theory is each region maps to an organ system, the practice is that thirty quiet minutes of it resets your circulation in a way a body massage doesn't. Cult favorite for guests who can't fall asleep.
Can I request a male or female therapist?
Yes, just note it when you book on Setmore or mention it on the phone. We'll match if a therapist of that gender is on shift — if not, we'll say so up front so you can choose another time slot rather than discover it at the door.
Do you offer hot stone or aromatherapy?
Hot stone and aromatherapy launch next month with Yang's Spa on Hunter Mill — they're built into the signature touches across the spa menu. The three Yang's Massage stores stick to body, foot, and combo at neighborhood pricing.
Is the menu and pricing the same at every studio?
Yes across the three Yang's Massage locations — Hunter Mill, Chain Bridge, Maple Ave. Yang's Spa runs a separate premium menu with its own pricing structure, announced at Grand Opening.
Opening Next Month

Yang's Spa Grand Opening

When does Yang's Spa open?
Grand Opening is next month — May 2026 — at 2944 Hunter Mill Rd, Suite 103, Oakton. Call (571) 546-1756 for the exact opening date and to reserve early.
What's on the Yang's Spa menu?
Six core services: foot reflexology, head massage, professional facial, acupuncture, full-body massage, and cupping. Every session is woven with signature touches — essential oil, hot stone, hot towel, hot pack, walk-on-back — at no extra cost.
What is the Japanese head spa, exactly?
A warm-water cascade scalp ritual paired with massage and a deep cleanse. The treatment everyone is asking about — sixty minutes that feels closer to a sleep state than a haircut. Pricing announced at Grand Opening.
How do I book a Yang's Spa session before opening?
Call (571) 546-1756 to get on the launch list. We'll confirm pricing and lock in your slot once the Setmore page goes live with the Grand Opening date. Walk-ins won't be possible the first weeks — we want every guest's intake to be unhurried.
Is Yang's Spa pricing the same as Yang's Massage?
No — the spa runs a separate premium menu. Sessions are longer, suites are private, and the signature touches are baked into every booking. Final pricing announced with the Grand Opening; for context, expect the upper end of $$$ rather than the neighborhood $$.
Will gift cards from Yang's Massage work at the Spa?
Yang's Spa runs its own gift card system because the menu and pricing are separate from the three neighborhood massage stores. If you have a Yang's Massage gift card, it stays good at any of the three massage studios — call us if you want to convert one toward the spa.
